Frances A. De Gori - Pitman, New Jersey
I came to Pilates through teaching Hatha Yoga. My supervisor from Bally’s suggested I get certified through Elizabeth Larkam’s Pilates Evolved Level’s 1 through 7 (a joint venture between Elizabeth Larkam and Bally’s Total Fitness). I completed Levels 1 through 5 and taught private and group Allegro classes. I attended my first Body, Mind and Spirit Conference in 2001. It made me realize that we needed to educate the public about the apparatuses and of all the exercises of Contrology, and not just Mat. I also met Ron Fletcher and fell in love with his work, especially the towel. Since then, I have completed his Level 1 and Level 2 and have become a Certified Teacher of the Ron Fletcher Program of Study. For contact information click here.

Laura West - San Antonio, Texas
Laura's first Pilates class was in September of 2004. Having searched on the internet for what the PMA considered to be " true" Pilates, Laura found a studio in Boerne Tx. that just happened to teach Fletcher Pilates. Having always exercised regularly she was amazed at her inability to be able to do the movements correctly!!! The challenge was issued... this of course led her to the Program of Study where she completed levels l and ll to become a Qualified Teacher. ( I might add this was a lot of hard work boys and girls!) She has also been named Program Facilitator. Laura is proud to be part of the Ron Fletcher Program and looks forward to passing the work on to others. For contact information click here.

Je-an Salas - Toronto, Canada
Je-an has practiced Pilates since 1995 to reinforce her prowess in ballet. After undergoing reconstructive surgery for a torn ACL in 2005, Fletcher Pilates impressed upon Je-an the full power and efficiency it has to shape and heal the body. The Surgeon who performed the operation insisted that it would take her knee longer than average to heal, because of her age and the stresses her knee had experienced during her long career as a professional dancer. The only rehabilitation she did was Fletcher Pilates and was back on stage in 10 months, as opposed to the two years that was anticipated for a full recovery. It was during her rehabilitation that she chose to invest her time by completing The Ron Fletcher Program of Study as a Qualified Fletcher Teacher. Her goals are to help others with the same skills that extended her career as a ballerina and provide quality, compassionate teaching of Fletcher Pilates. Her ultimate goal is to facilitate The Ron Fletcher Program of Study and spread the Fletcher work in Toronto.
Je-an joins the Ron Fletcher Company after receiving an invitation from Program Director Kyria Sabin. She is a Fletcher Facilitator and the Resident Pilates Teacher at The National Ballet of Canada where she was a soloist and performed with the company for 17 years.
